Before you book
Do I need a referral to see Dr Hatch?
No. Dr Hatch is a GP with additional training in musculoskeletal medicine, so you can book an appointment directly without a referral. Referrals from your GP, physiotherapist or specialist are always welcome — they provide useful clinical information — but they are not required.
How much does an appointment cost?
Consultation and procedure fees are set and available from the clinic — contact Milton Village Medical on 07 3367 0333 for current fees. Appointments are not bulk billed.
Can I attend under WorkCover or DVA?
Yes. For WorkCover, DVA or other insurers, you will be asked to pay the fee upfront and claim reimbursement from your insurer directly.
I'm travelling from outside Brisbane — can my visits be coordinated?
Yes. Patients travel to us from across Greater Brisbane and regional Queensland, particularly for treatments such as focused shockwave therapy and PRP. Assessment and treatment need to happen in person, but where clinically appropriate we can plan appointment courses to reduce the number of trips, and follow-up reviews can often be done by phone. Mention that you are travelling when you book.
Do you offer telehealth?
Assessment and treatment require in-person attendance — hands-on examination and image-guided procedures cannot be done remotely. Phone review appointments are available for follow-up where clinically appropriate.
